Mike Cooper, Business Development Director of Catchpoint, the linerless self adhesive labelling company which has pioneered and patented application systems, spoke in Barcelona about the latest development in the technology by his company and others.

A major part of the 2 day seminar was concerned with sustainability in the face of rapid global demand. Mike Cooper predicted that without redirecting resources which are currently used to produce waste liners material prices would escalate and continue the severe margin problems in the label industry..
